Services

We help mission-driven organizations and small creative businesses figure out who they're trying to reach, what to say, how to say it, and how to make it all work together. Most clients come to us at a turning point — a launch, a transition, a website rebuild, a new project — when how they show up matters more than it used to.

Where We Come In

Most people don’t come to us because they read about brand strategy and decided they wanted some. They come because something is in front of them — a launch, a transition, a moment when how they show up matters more than it used to. If you recognize yourself here, we’re likely a good fit.

We are a good fit when:

— You’re launching something new, and you need a brand — positioning, messaging, voice, identity — built from the ground up.

— You lead a nonprofit, foundation, or school that needs more than a copywriter or a designer. You need a strategic partner who can think across all of how you communicate.

— You’re in a moment of transition — new leadership, a new direction, a major program shift — and you need to figure out what to say about it.

— You’re rebuilding or rethinking your website, and you need a partner to lead the strategy, structure, and writing — not just the design.

— You need to name something — a product, a program, a new venture — and you want a name that comes from strategy, not just a brainstorm.

— You’re an artist, designer, or independent creative whose practice has grown beyond what your current communications can carry. You need to clarify your positioning, set priorities, and rebuild how you show up.

— You run a design firm and want a strategy-and-copy partner you can pull onto projects.

Our Core Services

Brand Strategy

We help mission-driven organizations, small businesses, and independent artists develop a brand strategy that's clear, compelling, authentic, and actionable.

Our work begins with audience — who you're for, who you're trying to reach, and what they need from you — and spans positioning, voice and tone, naming, and the strategic foundation that makes everything that follows — the website, the messaging, the voice of your emails — easier and better.

Strategic Communications Consulting

For organizations, founders, and independent practitioners with a specific initiative, project, or communications challenge that calls for strategic thinking.

We come in to shape the approach — anchored in audience, informed by research — and develop the communications that move it forward. Engagements include program launches, leadership transitions, brand and business pivots, strategic narratives for ongoing work, and end-to-end website overhauls where the work is to rethink the structure, tighten the content, and craft messages that reflect who you are now. Scope, deliverables, and timelines are defined upfront, so the work has a clear beginning and end.

Content Strategy & Production

We organize, write, and edit on-brand content for everything from websites and marketing materials to dense policy publications and evaluation reports.

Our work often begins with website strategy and information architecture: making sure what's on the page is supported by how the page is structured, who it's for, and what it asks them to do.

Let’s talk

We do our best work with people who come in thinking out loud. If something here resonates, we'd love to hear what you're working on — even if you're still figuring out what to call it.

The point of the call is to see whether what we do maps to what you need. If it doesn't, we'll usually know someone whose work is a better fit.
